LOVE ISLAND star Sam Jackson has said his brief stint on the show 'paid well' while posing on the bonnet of a luxury supercar.
The Clitheroe lad was unlucky in love on the ITV2 smash hit, but appears to be far from flustered by rejection as he proudly perched on a £170,000 Lamborghini Huracán.
He posted the tongue-in-cheek display on Instagram alongside the caption: "Turns out getting pied on national TV several times pays pretty well".
The post - which has been liked nearly 30,000 times - received plenty of attention from his 113,000 followers, including fans and some of Sam's fellow islanders.
The car is believed to belong to the VIP section at The Hive nightclub in Skegness, where Sam recently made a public appearance. The club owners refer to its hometown as 'SkegVegas' online.
Bournemouth babe Abigail Rawlings, who 'got to know' ex-welder Sam before eventually deciding to couple up with an uninterested Dale Huncho, commented: "Okay... well where the **** are my two??"
Sharon Gaffka, who had left the villa prior to Sam's arrival as a series 'bombshell', offered congratulations along with applauding emojis on his flash acquisition.
Many fans of the show warmed quickly to Sam and claim that he was "done dirty" by the producers, in not allowing him a real opportunity to couple up with some of the more permanent cast members.
Following the dramatic fallout from Casa Amor, Sam briefly coupled up with Faye Winter, who eventually re-coupled with Teddy Soares and finished third in the final episode.
He was then forced into a couple with Wakefield lass Mary Bedford, who drifted and coupled up with footballer Aaron Simpson a day later, in turn sending a love-sick Sam back home to Lancashire.
Mary and Aaron split up within days of leaving the villa last weekend.
