Officers searching for a missing man have found a body.
David Buckley was last seen on August 10.
A missing persons appeal was launched to find the 39-year-old, from Blackpool, with police believing he was last seen in Reads Avenue.
Sadly, on Tuesday night, detectives reported they had found a body the previous evening.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Officers searching for missing 39-year-old David Buckley have found a body.
"David was last seen in the Reads Avenue area of Blackpool on August 10.
"At just after 6.30pm on Monday officers have attended Rough Heys Lane, Blackpool, where they have sadly discovered a man deceased.
"Whilst he has yet to be formally identified, it is sadly believed to be David. His family have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to HM Coroner in due course.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who shared and supported our previous appeal in our search to find David.
"Our thoughts remain with his loved ones at this difficult time."
