A comedy night is coming to Blackburn Rovers’ Blues Bar next month – and tickets are an absolute steal.
For just £10, visitors will get to enjoy the comedy stylings of four comedians some of which have appeared on BBC shows and have accolades to their names.
The headliner is Wigan's Chris Washington, as seen on Mock The Week; he was also nominated for a Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
One of the hottest faces in stand up, Chris has a cheeky northern charm delighting audiences everywhere he plays.
The night’s main support comes from Roger Monkhouse who is one of the most original and distinctive acts on the comedy scene.
He is consummate stand-up who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience.
A highly original and quirky performer, Roger’s trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the biggest names on the comedy circuit.
Host and compere for the evening is MC Pete Otway who has established himself quickly as a natural and original comic, known for mixing a razor sharp wit with an affable charm and creative writing.
Whilst regularly appearing at some of the biggest and best comedy clubs across the UK, both as an MC and an act, Pete has also performed at large festivals such as the Isle Of Wight, gigged across Europe and provided support for touring acts such as Doc Brown.
Anna Thomas will also be performing; she won West Didsbury Comedy Festival’s New Act competition in 2020.
