FIRE officers are urging householders not to leave their television sets on stand-by after a woman was treated for smoke inhalation due to an overheated set.
Three fire crews were called to a house in Hindle Street, Haslingden, at 8.55pm on Monday, where they gave oxygen treatment to the woman.
The fire was contained within the television set.
Rawtenstall crew manager Alex Wilson said a television overheating was "very unusual".
