MOTORISTS faced delays this morning after three vehicles were involved in an accident on the M65.
Police were called to reports of a collision just before junction four, Darwen, on the motorway's eastbound carriageway at 7.44am.
A white Volvo van, a Renault Master lorry and a Peugeot Expert car were involved in the accident, which police described as a 'shunt'.
Police said that the carriageway was cleared within 15 minutes and traffic soon got back to normal.
