A SECTION of Blackburn Road in Accrington has been closed due to a crash and drivers are being advised to stay clear of the area.
The road has been closed between Oxford Street and Steiner Street.
Traffic is building up in the area.
Police said: "Blackburn Road in Accrington is closed between Oxford Street and Steiner Street in the town centre, while we attend a road traffic collision.
"Please avoid the area as traffic is likely to be heavy."
