THESE chilling CCTV images capture the moment two men burst into an off-licence and threatened a female shop worker in a "terrifying" knifepoint robbery.
Detectives have released the photographs in a bid to catch the men who raided Booze Busters, Burnley Road, Accrington, on Wednesday.
The victim, a young mum in her 20s, had a knife pushed into her side as the robber forced her to hand over almost £100 in cash from the till.
While one of the men brandished a knife, the other acted as a lookout.
They made off with the cash towards the Avenue Parade area at 9pm on Wednesday, January 2.
The shop, which is at the junction with Sydney Street, was just about to close when the raiders struck.
Staff spoke of their shock after the raid and said they had all been left "really scared" by what had happened.
Det Sgt Zoe Russo said: "We would ask anyone who may recognise either of the men caught on CCTV to get in touch.
"Although their faces aren't particularly clear, it may well be that somebody recognises their clothing."
One of the offenders has been described as a white male of medium build, 6ft 2ins and believed to be of Eastern European origin.
He was wearing a scarf to cover his face.
