Three Lancashire businesses have been named by the Government after defaulting on their tax bills.
In a newly published list of individuals or organisations that have been given financial penalties for failing to comply with tax obligations or filing deliberate errors, HMRC named plasterer Elliot Johnson, formerly of Darwen and Sean Patrick Bean, a groundworker from Ribbleton, Preston among its many culprits.
HMRC's Publishing Details of Deliberate Defaulters scheme flags up when a person or business has made at least one deliberate default on more than £25,000.
The Government body says that it is necessary to publish the details of those that do this in order to act as a deterrent on those flouting the rules.
