A man has been reported for multiple vehicle and driving offences after he was caught watching TV on his phone while driving.

And to make matters worse, the man's children were also in the car and none of them were wearing seatbelts.

The driver was stopped in his vehicle in Birkenhead in Merseyside on Saturday.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Vehicle stopped in Birkenhead.

"Completely irresponsible driver stopped for watching TV on his phone whilst driving … with his kids in the car … none of whom had seatbelts on.

"Driver reported."
