THEFT: All the dogs are now back with their owner
EIGHT dogs stolen in a single incident on Wednesday night have all now been reunited with their rightful owner.
Various departments of Lancashire Police acted quickly to a report of puppy theft in Euxton, Chorley, and intercepted a vehicle on the M61 using tactical pursuit and containment tactics with some further assistance from the Morecambe force.
At first, Police found just five of the eight puppies but managed to locate all of them and return them to their owner within a matter of hours.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene.
