MUSLIMS returning from the Hajj pilgrimage are being urged to take action if they have been the victim of rogue tour operators.
A charity has expressed "grave concern" about the increasing problem of exploitation of the pilgrims to Mecca by rogue and unscrupulous travel operators.
A spokesman for the Association of British Hujjaj (Pilgrims) said: "The violation of travel legislation has become a common practice.
"The Hajj travellers including elderly, sick and disabled are being bullied and threatened and subjected to inhumane and degrading treat-ment by the rogue operators.
"We are urging returnee Hajj pilgrims that if they have been a victim of exploitation or have been deceived then they must not suffer in silence and must take action to stop them before they exploit others."
