TWO raiders forced a terrified shop assistant to hand over cash at knifepoint.
Two men entered Boozebusters off-licence, Burnley Road, Accrington, shortly before 10pm tonight.
The first was brandishing a knife and forced the female assistant, who was on her own in the shop, to open the till and hand money over to them.
The pair escaped with around £100 in notes and coins, before making off on foot.
The first robber is described as white, possibly east European, wearing a light coloured bubble jacket, light coloured trousers, dark trainers anda dark cap.
The second had his face obscured with a dark scarf but was also white, wearing a dark jacket with a hood.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who knows who the offenders are, to contact Accrington CID on 01254 353741.
