A driver wanted for seven offences was arrested after being stopped by police on the motorway.
Police pulled the red van in the picture on the southbound carriageway of the M6 close to Preston on Sunday evening.
The driver provided numerous false details in a bid to evade the officers but after some quick-thinking by the Tac Ops team they were able to identify the motorist and in doing so discovered he was wanted by a different police force for seven offences.
Officers seized the van and duly arrested the driver.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Stopped M6 southbound Preston.
"After trying their best to fool us with numerous false details, the driver was identified as wanted for seven offences in a different force.
"Try all you want; we are relentless and you will be found out.
"Driver arrested and vehicle seized."
