POLICE officers have reported a busy Saturday night including dealing with an overdose, rescuing a woman from a canal and several crimes.
The incident occurred across the Chorley area over the course of Saturday June 12.
Officers say that they were at work non-stop through the night.
A police spokesperson said: "In Leyland there was a concern for safety report after someone had taken an overdose, a separate concern for safety, enquiries to locate a drink driver and an aggravated burglary.
"In Coppull, we have dealt with a juvenile nuisance incident.
"In Heath Charnock, we dealt with a concern for safety incident with a female in the canal, assisted by Fire and Ambulance, with the female now safe and well and receiving the help she needs.
"In Chorley, we have dealt with a domestic incident and sudden death.
"We also took reports for four missing persons and made enquiries throughout the shift, to try and locate them."
