A BLACKBURN small business is creating a range of evocatively smelling wax melts and home fragrances, which can be custom made for customers.
Heaven Scent Bowtique was founded by Blackburn-based Beccie Cochrane, who makes all of her products by hand during her weekends and evenings days off when not working as a hospital trauma coordinator.
Operating out of her Abbey Village workshop, Ms Cochrane sells her wares online and hopes to set up a physical shop too at some point in the future.
She said: "I was obsessed with wax melts and then for my birthday, my husband got me a set and I just started making them in the kitchen.
"My friends said they were amazing so it all just took off from their."
She added: "I think its due to lockdown and people taking interests in all kinds of different things like that."
Ms Cochrane says that what makes her business unique is how her products are custom made so that they remind customers of a special person or moment in their lives.
Smelling waxes and fragrances produced by Heaven Scent Bowtique can be inspired by all kinds of special memories.
Ms Cocharane said: "I make all kinds of fragrances which can smell like, for example your favourite aftershave, or the perfume you wore on your wedding day or maybe a purfume that reminds you of your mother."
The wax used by the business is made of natural soy bean, certified palm wax, paraffin wax and plant and plant based additives.
It is vegan and does not contain any animal by-product, while both all of the wax and oil used is sustainably sourced and cruelty-free.
As well as wax melts, the online outlet also offers burners and carpet fresheners.
Ms Cochrane hopes to be able to work towards producing scented candles, which once again will be custom made to give of smells evoking special memories.
