More pop-up vaccination clinics will be available over the next week as Covid-19 continues to take hold in Pennine Lancashire.
Providing the Pfizer vaccination, the temporary facilities are going to open in various areas across the borough including Wensley Fold, Barnoldswick, Haslingden and Clitheroe.
The clinics are available to people ages 18 and over, subject to eligibility.
If you are unsure of your eligibility, a member of the team will discuss this with you.
You don’t need an appointment, just walk-in:
- Sunday 6th June - Merkazie Jamia Ghosia Mosque, Abel Street, Burnley, BB10 1QB, 10am – 4pm.
- Tuesday 8th June - Salem Street Car Park, Haslingden BB4 5HT, 10am – 4pm.
- Wednesday 9th June – Salams Masjid-e-Ghousiya, Leamington Road, Wensley Fold, Blackburn, BB2 6ER,
- Thursday 10th June - Booths Car Park, Station Rd, Clitheroe, BB7 2JT, 12-7pm.
- Saturday 12th June - Co-op Car Park, Barnoldswick, BB18 6AB, 10am - 4pm.
- Sunday 13th June - Queensgate Mosque, 259 Colne Rd, Burnley BB10 1EF, 10am – 4pm.
Jane Scattergood, Covid-19 Vaccination Director for Lancashire and South Cumbria, said: “These pop-up vaccination sites mean people have more opportunities to get their vaccination at a time and place that suits them. As soon as you are eligible, please do come forward.
“I also want to again say a huge thank you to all our staff and partners who are working hard on the delivery of the vaccination programme.”
