Vehicles being driven in an anti-social manner or with no insurance were also seized by the force in the past month.

“We listened to community concerns about motorists in the Colne Road area and have seized numerous vehicles this month being used in an anti-social manner and having no insurance.
“We have been targeting the Daneshouse area after concerns were raised about drug dealing. Officers from the Taskforce stop checked a vehicle which uncovered a large amount of drugs. Four males were arrested and a further vehicle seized.
“We executed a drugs warrant on Briercliffe Road where we arrested a further male and seized equipment used in the production of drugs.
“We got a conviction at court for possession with intent to supply Class A where a three year custodial sentence was given.
“We had just enough time to attend a community fun day off Barden Lane to help raise money for local charities.
“We will continue to listen to the public and drive our targeted activity around what really matters most to our communities.”
