FIREFIGHTERS have warned members of the public to be careful when parking their cars.
This comes after crews in the Ribble Valley found it difficult to make their way past parked vehicles while on their way through Clitheroe.
Although no one was endangered in this case, Lancashire Fire and Rescue cautioned that this could have been very different in an emergency situation.
A spokesperson said: "This is a friendly reminder to be mindful of where you're parking your vehicles.
"On their way to a recent incident, firefighters from Clitheroe Fire Station had difficulty navigating some streets due to the parking of other road users.
"In other circumstances, this could have endangered lives.
"Thank you for parking considerately to allow emergency services access
