A WOMAN has been disqualified from driving after she was captured going more than twice the speed limit on a 30mph road.
Shazia Cousar Ilyas, of Swallow Drive, Blackburn, was caught driving her Vauxhall on Stockport Road West at a speed of 70mph.
The 43-year-old didn’t attend the court hearing at Manchester And Salford Magistrates' Court and was proven guilty in her absence.
Alongside a 56-day ban, she must also pay costs totalling £811.
That will be made up of a £660 fine, victim surcharge fee of £66 and court costs of £85.
