A MAN has appeared in court after he stole four pairs of jeans.
Michal Czerniaski attempted to steal the clothing, which had a value of £256.96, from the Super Dry Store in Liverpool.
Czerniaski, of Lower Antley Street, Accrington, pleaded guilty to one count of theft following the incident on May 5.
The 34-year-old has since appeared at Greater Manchester Magistrates Court where he was given a conditional discharge for 24 months.
This means he will not be sentenced if he stays out of trouble for that period of time.
