THERE are long delays on a Lancashire motorway as bank holiday traffic strikes again.
Tailbacks on the M6 between Junction 27 and 31 northbound near Preston are currently causing delays of just under an hour.

On Saturday, traffic backed-up over 17 miles on the M6 as people hit the road for Bank Holiday trips.
A spokesman said: “There are severe delays on the #M6 northbound between J27 and J31 near #Preston. Heavy congestion is causing delays of 50 mins above normal travel time.
“Heavy congestion is also causing delays of 40 mins on the M61 northbound leading back past J8. Plan ahead.”
