A WOMAN was charged with drink driving after crashing her car close to a train station.
Officers from the British Transport Police helped to detain the woman, who had been involved in an accident close to Leyland station.
Nobody was injured in the crash.
A picture uploaded to social media shows the mangled front of a car which appears to have crashed into an electricity box on the side of a road.
A spokesman said: “Female driver arrested and charged for drink drive at Leyland train station this weekend, fortunately nobody was seriously injured. Our thanks to Lancs Fire and BTP for your assistance in making the location safe.”
