SUMMER may be finally on its way with temperatures soaring this bank holiday weekend.
Today, Saturday, May 30, enjoy a picnic in the sun as it reaches 22 degrees.
The whole week is forecasted to be warm, just in time for people to get out on the bank holiday weekend as restrictions eased last week.
Wednesday will see the highest at 23 degrees, but by Thursday it will go down to 18 degrees.
The MET Office also predicts more hot days coming for June, giving everyone the perfect summer after spending months in lockdown.
The good weather is not limited to the North West, however, with the rest of the United Kingdom expecting an upturn in temperatures - with highs of 22C predicted nationwide.
