POLICE stopped a motorcyclist who was caught going up to 90mph in a 30mph zone.
The rider was travelling along Caton Road A683 in Lancaster at the time.
A spokesman for police said: "Today will have been the first time out in a long time for the fair weather bikers among us.
"Please remember to take it easy. This bike was followed at speeds of up to 90mph in a 30 zone. Seized under Section 59 and rider will have to attend court to explain his actions."
