TWO supercars have been seized by the police after their drivers were caught racing on a busy motorway.
The two cars, a Porsche and a Ferrari, were spotted by an off-duty police officer on Friday afternoon.
The drivers of the cars were seen to be slowing their vehicles down on the M65 before speeding off, appearing to race each other.
They were reported and dealt with.
A spokesman said: “Both these cars were witnessed by an off duty colleague to slow on the M65 building up traffic before speeding off appearing to race each other. Stopped with the help of @LancsPolDogUnit Actions deemed to be dangerous enough for a section 59 notice and straight seizure.”
