A group of school leavers have been chastised after they were caught launching glass bottles at police vehicles and causing damage to a town's park.
On Tuesday, police in Blackpool were called to Stanley Park bowling green following numerous reports of a gathering of school leavers in the area.
The teenagers caused damage to the park and when the police arrived, began launching glass bottles at their vehicles.
A spokesperson for the police said: "This behaviour is not acceptable.
"We will be in contact with the school the youths are from and we will be making enquiries into identifying the people involved.
"This is also a warning to anyone using the park and especially dog walkers, there is a lot of broken glass around the bowling green area."
