Anyone wishing to get their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine has been told they can attend a drop-in vaccination centre in the next few hours, as a surplus of vaccine stock has to be used by the end of the day.
NHS Blackburn with Darwen CCG made an important announcement this afternoon, informing people living in the borough that they have 200 first doses of the Covid-19 still available, which need to be used today.
Posting on social media, the CCG stated: "IMPORTANT MESSAGE - we have 200 first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 still available today at Revidge Fold Church, Blackburn, and they have to be used today.
"If you are over 18 and unsure if you are eligible, please pop into the site."
Anyone wishing to take advantage and get their FIRST dose, is asked to book an appointment by following this link.
