Police in East Lancashire have arrested nine people over the space of two nights on suspicion of drink or drug driving.
Tac Ops officers say the 'unacceptable' and 'disgraceful' behaviour, seen on both Wednesday and Thursday night, is putting people's lives at risk.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Team 2 Lancs Tac Ops over in sunny East Lancshire coming to the end of their set of shifts.
"Disgracefully we have arrested nine drink or drug drivers over the past two night shifts.
"There is no excuse and it puts peoples lives at risk. It is wholly unacceptable."
