M65 Junction 7.
Police have warned of travel delays on the M65 due to a serious accident.
Junction 7 and 8 are closed due to the incident just after 8pm.
A spokesman for the police said: "M65 West bound between jnc& 8 closed due to serious accident. Please use alternate route."
Hyndburn Police tweeted: "The M65 is closed at Junction 6 and 7 whilst police attend a road traffic collision.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we will post an update when the road is reopen. Thank you."
Delays are expected to continue.
