Police are calling for parents of young children to stop letting their kids hang around on an East Lancashire train station after repeated incidents of criminal damage.
British Transport Police officers in Blackburn have been made aware of the constant anti-social behaviour at Mill Hill station, in which glass on waiting areas has been shattered and fragments and shards littered all over the platform.
Officers are now asking anyone who witnesses such behaviour or criminal damage to contact them using the BTP text line.
A spokesperson for the BTP said: "Repeated criminal damage and antisocial behaviour occurring at Mill Hill Station, Blackburn.
"If you witness anything happening there, please text BTP on 61016 (or 999 in an emergency), and let us know.
"And parents, please don’t let you children hang around on the station."
