A police dog tracked down two criminals after they crashed a stolen car while under the influence of alcohol.
On Tuesday evening police were called to Barton near Preston after receiving reports that two men had crashed a car, abandoned it and ran off.
Officers were soon on scene and PD Koa managed to track down one of the men who was hiding in some undergrowth, while officers from Preston police were able to detain and arrest the other.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and drink driving.
A spokesperson for the police said: "No briefing cuppa for Team Koa after a call reporting two males abandoning a crashed car in Barton.
"PD Koa tracks and locates one male hiding in undergrowth while Preston police arrest the other.
"Both arrested for theft of motor vehicle and drink driving."
