A WOMAN has been dealt with by the courts after she was caught almost 200 miles from home driving without insurance.
Faith Standen was ordered to pay a fine and costs amounting to £816 after she was caught driving a car in Oxfordshire while she was uninsured.
The 43-year-old’s case was proven in her absence.
Standen, of Bedford Place, Padiham, has also had her licence endorsed with six penalty points.
She did not attend the hearing which took place at Oxfordshire Magistrates Court last week.
