A motorbike which was being ridden with the exhaust ‘held together by a rope’ has been seized by police.
The bike was being ridden around Burnley yesterday (May 18), and after pulling it over officers also found it did not have insurance or an MOT.
This comes as the force has launched Operation Seizure, which looks to take nuisance bikes off the road.
PC Bourne and PC Arif said: “We seized this bike after suspecting it had been ridden around the Burnley area.
“Upon inspecting the vehicle it had no insurance or MOT.
“The bike was in no fit state to be on the road and the exhaust was held together by a rope.
“We will continue our efforts to deal with bike nuisance but we need your help.
“Please contact us if you have any information of individuals riding bikes in an antisocial manner in your area via Lancashire Talking.”
