A man who was arrested after police found a large amount of cash on him later found an imitation firearm, weapons and over 60 cannabis plants while searching his house.
Pendle police stopped a car on Pine Street, Nelson on Wednesday (May 12) and while searching the 31-year-old occupant's house, they found items ‘linked to drug supply’ a large amount of cash.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Officers from the Pendle Task Force will continue to target and disrupt those involved in serious and organised crime.
“We rely on members of the public and information that they provide to us in order to keep getting positive results and to target those who blight our communities the most.”
Police ask that anybody with any information that they would like to report should call 101 or if they wish to remain anonymous, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
