Police are asking for help in identifying the people pictured in the CCTV stills after a family home was broken into and car keys stolen.

The incident happened at an address on Astbury Chase in Darwen on Tuesday April 13.

Thieves broke into the home by a back door sometime overnight while the occupants were asleep.

Keys to a BMW, which was parked outside, were stolen but luckily the thieves were unable to take the car.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Do you recognise the people in these images?

"We want to speak to them after a burglary at an address in Darwen on Tuesday April 13.

"Thieves broke into the family home on Astbury Chase by a back door overnight whilst the occupants were in bed asleep.

"They took a key to a BMW parked outside but were thankfully unable to steal it.

"If you know who these men are, please call 01282 472133 or email 4102@lancashire.police.uk.

"Alternatively, you can call 101 quoting incident reference 0095 of April 13."
