THE Mayor of Pendle, Coun Allan Buck, is inviting residents to come and see him at his Meet the Mayor' surgeries.
The mayor wants to give all local people the chance to have their say on Pendle issues that matter to them.
The meetings, to be held throughout Pendle, offer people the opportunity to raise their concerns to the mayor in person at the Saturday surgeries.
The next surgeries will take place on January 12 at the New Road Community Centre, Earby, and on February 9 at Nelson Town Hall.
He is also conducting tours of Nelson Town Hall which are open to the public.
Coun Buck said: "Previously mayor's surgeries have all been held in Nelson Town Hall.
"But I am getting out and about for most of them, to visit all parts of Pendle and to make it easier for residents to raise their issues with me.
"The Meet the Mayor surgeries are all on Saturday from 10am to noon. It would help if you rang first, so that we can fit in everyone who wants to see me."
Appointments are not necessary but people should contact the mayor's secretary, Pat Hudson, in advance on 661633 or email pat.hudson@ pendle.gov.uk.
