A CAR dealer has recruited a new apprentice to its team.
Jamie York has secured a post as a vehicle technician for Bentley at the company's Rishton-based dealership, Bentley Ribble Valley.
Jamie, 21, from Padiham, is one of only eight apprentices to join the training programme this year.
In his apprentice role, Jamie will train exclusively on Bentley and will be based for the most part at the aftersales facility in Rishton before the dealership relocates to Preston.
He will also spend around two months in the course of each year at the Bentley factory in Crewe learning the latest diagnostic techniques along with detailed engineering skills specific to the prestigious Bentley marque.
Jamie said: "Being part of Bentley's apprenticeship programme has set me on the path to a lifetime career."
