VISITOR attractions in the Ribble Valley have been honoured by the Duke of Westminster.
The Duke presented six tourism operators from the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with gold, silver and bronze Green Tourism Business Scheme awards at Over Wyresdale Parish Hall, Abbeystead.
The awards were presented to Clough Bottom (gold), Wolfen Mill County Retreats (silver), Holden Clough Nursery (silver), Bowland Wild Boar Park (silver), Girl Guiding UK Activity Centre (bronze), and Spring Head Farm Holiday Cottages (bronze) for demonstrating profitable and environmentally-conscious management'.
