A campaign to target those who drive whilst using a mobile phone has been hailed a success.
Throughout September, police officers were out in force at hotspots in the Ribble Valley.
They also checked that drivers and passengers were wearing their seatbelts and anyone found breaking the law was issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice.
In total, 34 endorsable Fixed Penalty Tickets were issued for the misuse of mobile phones and 223 non endorsable Fixed Penalty Tickets were issued to those not wearing seatbelts.
