If you are planning on setting of fireworks during the coming weeks, please be aware of the firework's curfew and consider your neighbours, as sound travels a long way.
Fixed penalty notices of £80 will be issued to residents who breach the curfew.
For those of you who aren't sure, fireworks are not allowed between 11pm and 7am every day.
The only exceptions are on the 5th November, when fireworks are allowed until midnight and New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year, when fireworks are permitted until 1am.
We would also remind you that it is an offence for anyone under the age of 18 to possess fireworks in a public place.
Finally, please remember to obtain permission from the council if you intend to organise a bonfire party on public land.
