It's official, the Ribble Valley continues to be the safest place in the North West of England to live.
Not only that, it's also in the top 20 safest places in the country to live. So far this year, crime in the Ribble Valley is down by 24.4% compared to last year.
The other great news is that, as a division 34.6% of crimes (more than one in three) are being detected, which is well above the national average.
These results are very encouraging and the police, along with our partners from the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, will continue to work together to ensure that the Ribble Valley remains a very safe place to live, work and socialise.
