A pensioner awaiting sentence for a catalogue of sex offences years ago was re-bailed until Dec 21.
Gerald Greenwood, 72, was due to be sentenced on Monday, but the hearing was adjourned for medical reports after Burnley Crown Court heard the defendant had been suffering from cancer.
Greenwood, then from the Waterfoot area where the offences were committed, has admitted allegations of rape, indecent assault and gross indecency. He now lives at Scott Street, Walsden, Todmorden.
