EMERGENCY services attended the scene of a crash last night to see a note telling them that someone had gone to hospital.
Officials from Blackburn Fire Station were joined by ambulance crews and the police on Jackson Heights Road, Belthorn last night.
Alan Jones, watch manager from Blackburn said: "We were called to the incident at around 9pm last night near the Grey Mare pub.
"It was a Nissan Micra that had crashed into the stone wall and also overturned. We were there with the police and ambulance.
"Nobody was in the car at the time but there was a note on the windscreen saying 'Awaiting recovery. Gone to hospital'.
"We just made the scene safe as there was some fuel on the road and were there for about 20 minutes."
