Stanley House Hotel and Spa, has begun a new Sunday roast home delivery service.

With the coronavirus pandemic having curtailed most opportunities to eat out, the hotel management believes that what they are calling Stanley House at Home is the perfect way to allow customers to continue to enjoy something special on a Sunday without compromising lockdown regulations.

This has already proven popular in its first few weeks and as a result Stanley House is working to expand the menu on offer.

A spokesperson said: "Due to the sell-out success of our Sunday roast dinner, which was added to our collection of restaurant quality at home dishes last weekend, we're extending the joy by offering the choice of three delicious roast meats this Sunday."

This comes amid a tough time for the hospitality industry all across the country, which has been one of the sectors hit hardest by a succession of lockdowns, both local and national, since last March.

In response, like many venues around the UK, Stanley House, owned by Blackburn born EG Group owners Mohsin and Zuber Issa, began to focus on a collection and delivery menu for that very reason, with the Sunday roast being just the most recent addition which has proved a popular choice since first being rolled out in January.

This has allowed the business to continue to function despite and extremely tough economic landscape.

Along with various other Stanley House at Home offers, the Mellor hotel is offering the meals at a price of £14.95 per person.

Customers can place their orders and either collect their meal between midday and 8pm on a Sunday or have it delivered to them.
