DETAILS of the opening hours for Burnley Council services over Christmas and New Year have been announced.
The council switchboard and offices will close at 5pm on Friday, December 21 and re-open at 9am on December 27.
The switchboard and offices will close again at 5pm on December 28 and re-open for business as normal from 9am on January 2.
Burnley Market Hall is open as usual but also on December 16 from 10am-4pm; December 18 from 9am-5pm; December 20 until 8pm; December 23 from 10.30am-4.30pm and Christmas Eve from 8.30am-4pm.
The market hall will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day but open normal hours December 27 to 29. It will be closed on December 30 but will be open New Year's Eve 9am-4pm.
It will be closed on New Year's Day and open as normal after that.
