A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Burnley.
Police were called to a property in Carlton Road just before 4pm today, where they found a 28-year-old man inside suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Royal Blackburn Hospital to be treated for his injuries and his condition is described as serious.
A 32-year-old man was also at the address.
He was arrested and taken to Burnley police station where he will be questioned by officers.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
