MANCHESTER United superstar Ronaldo is urging everyone to take part in a Santa Run to raise funds for two of their partner charities, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Francis House Children's Hospice.
The Santa Run kicks off at 12 noon on Sunday, December 16, from United's Old Trafford ground.
People can run, jog or walk their way round the one mile route and participants of any age are welcome, although children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is £10, or £7 for children, senior citizens and students and each Santa is asked to pledge to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship money.
All those who register receive a free Santa suit.
Ronaldo said: "Good luck to everyone taking part in the first Santa Run at Old Trafford.
"I am sure the event will be a great success and will raise a lot of money for two great charities."
