On March 17, Ofsted temporarily suspended its routine full inspections of schools, colleges, early years settings, children’s social care providers and local authorities to reduce the burden on staff who were providing vital services to the nation in response to coronavirus.

Routine full inspections are due to re-commence in 2021, although no official date has been announced.
