NEW signage has gone up at a £6.5m eight-screen cinema in Blackburn.
Workmen and lighting could also be seen in the large reception area of the Reel Cinema with much of the exterior work having been completed.
The area outside the cinema and opposite the Blackburn College Victoria building has been relaid with grass.
The £6.5million Reel Cinema in the town centre is part of an ambitious project to regenerate the Blakey Moor area as a leisure destination and help revive the town’s night-time economy.
The long-awaited site was due to open by Christmas but has been delayed until the new year.
