A nanny has been charged with murdering the 13-month-old baby of two Lancashire police officers.
Linda Wise, 46, a nanny, of Pentre Berw, Gaerwen, Anglesey, North Wales, has today been charged with two counts of assaulting baby Isaac Rowlinson.
Issac was the son of Det Insp Paul Rowlinson, based in Preston, and PC Lisa Rowlinson, who works in Chorley.
The family lives in Penwortham.
The incidents are alleged to have taken place between August 13 and 21 August 2006, and on or between 21 August and 4 September 2006.
However, she has now been charged with murder following Isaac's death on July 23 this year.
She is currently on conditional bail and will appear before a judge at Preston Crown Court on Monday at 10am.
